PROGRAMMES OFFERED: BACHELORS, MASTERS AND DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES (IN TECHNICAL COLLABORATION WITH HGU, UGC RECOGNISED UNIVERSITY)

UG: BACHELORS PROGRAMMES – B.DESIGN- 4 YEARS & BACHELORS – 3 YEARS ( ELIGIBILITY : 10+2 )

Year One

  • 1st Semester
  • Manual designing: designing with different motives and knowledge of jewellery. shading, rendering of white gold, yellow gold, gemstones etc. costume jewellery: making all jewellery by different types of beads, stones. metallurgy- basic knowledge and theory of all terms used in jewellery.
  • 2nd Semester
  • Manual design gemology: basic study of gemstones, shapes; origin, occurence etc. diamond grading: basic knowledge of diamond . there 4cs of grading.

Year Two

  • 3rd Semester
  • Production management designing projects.like state project, country project, detachable project, temple jewellery.gemology- advanced study. diamond grading -advanced study of diamonds.
  • 4th Semester
  • Market surveys.cad designing – rhino n matrix.
